This post sits within a busy Digital Team that focuses on creating engaging content for the University of West London’s website. This is a particularly exciting time to join the team as we are in the middle of a complete website redevelopment, with opportunities to get involved in creating content for the new website.

Our website is the first window on the University for many prospective students, so website content producers have a key role to play, making sure that this first interaction is positive and engaging. This may involve producing video content about the University’s events or its degree programmes, taking photos of university life, or updating course information pages. It’s a varied and dynamic role with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects.

We are looking for someone with experience of creating compelling content for online audiences, including written content and rich media. You will have a good understanding of how to tailor content for online publication, including how to optimise it for search engines and make it accessible to those using screen readers and other accessibility tools. Above all, you will take a user-focused approach to creating content, ensuring that it speaks to the target audience – often prospective students. If this is you, we would love to hear from you.

Interviews will take place in the week commencing 2 March 2020.
