Would you like to use your skills and experience to make a difference to student learning and achievement? If so we have an exciting opportunity at the University of Bradford. Through providing advice and guidance to students that have existing, or emerging mental health conditions you will play an active role in helping individuals to fulfil their potential through their studies and beyond.

You will be an experienced professional, with a community psychiatric nurse / mental health social worker / counselling background (or similar field).  You will be highly competent and experienced in supporting adults with emerging or existing mental health conditions. The role requires a practitioner who is willing and able to adapt their skills to deliver short-term interventions to students within the organisational context of a Higher Education environment. You will be required to assess and manage risk and liaise with external services when appropriate. You will be involved in offering training to students and staff.

Based within the Counselling and Mental Health Service, you will be working as part of a successful service within a vibrant and dynamic environment. You will be positive, solution focused and have a creative, can-do approach.
