We are currently recruiting a full time Medical Education Programme Manager on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Senior Education Partner, but working closely with the Education Support Managers and the teams based in the hospital Localities, the Medical Education Programme Manager will ensure that there is joined-up support for both the early stages and the clinical stages of the BMBS and other Medical School programmes. They will have oversight of the education activity of the programmes as a whole, and ensure that there is excellent communication between the range of teams supporting the different areas of the courses. They will co-ordinate University and NHS support services to ensure that the BMBS programme functions effectively and that the staff and student experience is maintained.

The successful applicant will have proven, successful leadership and management experience. They will have excellent communication and networking skills. They will be capable of flexibly adapting to different tasks and areas of responsibility to ensure that the programmes run smoothly.

This role is based on the St. Luke’s campus in Exeter. However, the role holder may be required to travel to meetings and events at the University’s other campuses in Exeter, Truro and Penryn.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

The role is based within the Education and Academic Support (EAS) Directorate. This is one of the largest of the professional services teams and is responsible for delivering world-class educational services to Faculties whilst ensuring the best possible experience for our students and academics.
