An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Technician to work within the James Watt School of Engineering.

In this role, the postholder will provide professional technical support for research and teaching in the James Watt School of Engineering operating within the Technical Services Division. You will provide a range of mechanical skills and experience that can be applied in world class research projects and postgraduate and undergraduate teaching activities.

In addition, the postholder will be responsible for overseeing practical skills labs and workshops in undergraduate teaching lab spaces.

This post is full time (35 hours per week) and offered on an open ended basis.  Relocation assistance will be provided where appropriate.
