About the Role

The Marketing Manager will have hands-on responsibility for a number of critical tasks to propel our brand and reputation into the international market, ultimately resulting in high-quality applications from candidates (particularly for Cranfield’s flagship MBA, and its EMBA and DBA programmes). This role will implement the marketing plan and strategy.

This truly is an omni-channel marketing role which requires knowledge of events management, social media, and digital marketing channels. Our Marketing Manager will need to balance complex, multiple tasks to a high standard and in a timely manner; with the objective of achieving global brand position and achieving international recruitment targets. The candidate should also feel comfortable measuring the return on investment of campaigns, analysing analytics, and making informed decisions.

About You

You are a team player, well versed in the full marketing mix, with a strong commercial awareness and focus. You can retain clarity and focus, with a calm, composed and professional demeanour. You are confident to effect change.

You will be degree educated, or have equivalent experience in management, leadership, business, or a marketing related subject. A postgraduate qualification such as an MBA or CIM would be an advantage.

With experience in marketing, you will be an innovative and dedicated marketer with an understanding of integrated marketing tools. You will feel comfortable running cross channel campaigns utilising social media for business. Excellent copywriting and event management skills are two key requirements for this position. You will be an apt proof-reader. You will have an eye for detail and feel at ease with website management and speaking with senior stakeholders, with professionalism. You know that return on investment is key to measuring the success of marketing campaigns, and will actively measure, analyse, and report on key analytics regularly.

You will be used to working in fast-paced environments, in teams with a high output. You will be happy to cover infrequent weekend or evening events (time in lieu will be given in return).
