Do you have an understanding of marketing and a keen eye for detail? Then this role within the Future Students and Brand directorate could be for you.

As Marketing Assistant, you will provide admin support to the Marketing and Student Recruitment team on a wide range of marketing activity to ensure the University successfully recruits undergraduate and postgraduate students from the UK and internationally. You will support student recruitment activity by helping to produce digital ad campaigns, content gathering and assisting at events. A key part of the role is to process and coordinate purchase orders and invoices and liaise with suppliers and Finance. The role will require collaboration with colleagues in Future Students and Brand and across the wider University. 

As Marketing Assistant, you will:

  • provide administrative support for the Marketing and Student Recruitment team, which may include content management, digital advertising campaigns, market research and student recruitment events
  • manage the University’s listings on third-party websites
  • manage the processing and payment of purchase orders and invoices

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • some knowledge of marketing ideally gained within the higher education sector
  • a helpful and responsive manner with the ability to react quickly to changing priorities
  • excellent IT skills (particularly MS Office packages)
