The Role

An opportunity currently exists to join the Human Resources (HR) team of the University. We are seeking to recruit a HR professional for the position of Employee Relations Manager to lead this important aspect of the overall HR support service provided to the University.

Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, the Employee Relations Manager will hold a leadership role within the HR team. They will play a key role in defining, co-ordinating and managing the employee relations strategy for the University and how to engage with our recognised trade unions and our staff.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in an employee relations or cognate discipline, preferably in a public sector environment and ideally in a Higher Education Institute.

Senior Administrative Officer IV Post-1995 (February 2022) Salary Scale: €60,516 – €96,086 p.a. (7 points)

Senior Administrative Officer IV Pre-1995 (February 2022) Salary Scale: €57,590 – €91,289 p.a. (7 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
