We are now looking for a Maintenance Manager, to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

THE ROLE

The post holder will be required to provide support to the Head of Technical Services and Compliance and provide an internal consultancy service within the Estates & Facilities department, this will include but is not limited to surveys, snagging and dilapidations.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered as a Maintenance Manager, you will need:

  • Educated to a degree standard in Surveying or equivalent qualification/experience
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • ILM Level 3 or equivalent experience
  • Possess good interpersonal, communication and presentational skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Ability to demonstrate effective organisational skills as well as meet tight deadlines when required
  • Good working knowledge of the Building Regulations and relevant British & EN Standards
  • Proven experience of effective project management
  • Proven experience of preparing formal tender documentation such as specifications, schedules of work and contract administration/management under JCT or NEC
  • Demonstrate the ability to work to critical targets and deadlines
  • Able to work in a team as well as autonomously to a high level of accuracy whilst driving performance objectives
  • Experience of working with listed/heritage buildings

It would also be beneficial if you had:

  • Asbestos Management Qualification
  • Previousexperience in a customerservice / consultancyrole
  • Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh (oral and written)
