Lectureships in English Literature and Creative Writing – Teaching and Research
The School of English, Communication and Philosophy at Cardiff University is seeking to appoint four new colleagues in English Literature and two new colleagues in Creative Writing, all on the Teaching & Research pathway.
The four English Literature posts are in medieval literature, literature of the Romantic period, literatures of the Black Atlantic, and film studies. The successful candidates will engage effectively with academic, professional, and public institutions and groups to raise the School’s profile, cultivate strategic alliances, and enhance the School’s ambition to be a creative and inclusive community renowned for both its academic excellence and its impact on policy, practice, and public life.
All six posts are full-time (35 hours per week) on open-ended contracts.
Salary: £39,347 - £44,263 per annum (Grade 6). New appointments are usually made at the bottom of the salary scale.
