Lecturer (Supervisor CYP IAPT 0-5s VIG) E&S

The Faculty wishes to recruit a part-time Clinical Supervisor in Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) to support the delivery of the Children and Young Peoples’ (CYP) IAPT training programme within the Clinical Education Development and Research (CEDAR) department.

This part-time post (0.1FTE) is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 31st December 2024.

About you

The successful applicants will possess an in-depth understanding of VIG approaches applied to 0-5s to enable the development of new knowledge and understanding within the field.

The role will involve supporting trainees by delivery of VIG supervision which takes place on alternate Mondays at the university during term time. You will work with other supervisors and the Clinical and Programme Leads to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of clinical supervision within the teaching programme in accord with the College’s education strategy and implementing the External Affairs strategy. You may also contribute directly to teaching in relation to the development of clinical skills one within the specified clinical area and to the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices in relation to clinical supervision. While we deliver much of our teaching from our Exeter campus we would welcome applications from those who wish to undertake the role on a mainly remote basis.
