Lecturer – Sports Management

Job Description

We are looking to appoint a talented Sports Management Lecturer to join our collegial team. The successful applicant will lead on sports management modules as well as contributing to other business and management modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

About the role

You will be an enthusiastic and committed Sports Management lecturer keen to work with diverse student cohorts. You will be able to make contributions to enterprise, knowledge exchange, research and scholarship in relevant areas. In addition, you will assist with study support, research methods, dissertation supervision and coordination, undertake course administrative duties and provide pastoral tutorial support when required. You will also be required to work closely with our partnerships supporting the teaching at different campuses and quality assuring the delivery of modules.

About you

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable solid grounding in teaching at university level. You will have relevant academic expertise to inform and support your role. You will be committed to delivering an outstanding student experience with sound knowledge of professional standards related to your subject specialism. You will have experience of working with diverse student cohorts including international students. You will possess exceptional interpersonal, networking and communication skills, a positive attitude and a flexible, collegiate approach.
