We are looking for an experienced clinician or clinical academic who has a strong focus on education. This role will work with the professional practice skills and simulation team, academic and professional services colleagues across the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences to advance the Universities Simulation Strategy agenda for its Health and Social care students. The role of the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Simulation and Immersive Technology is central to the success of this agenda. Working across the faculty of Health and Life Sciences you will be responsible for the development, organisation and delivery of innovative approaches to simulation and immersive technology learning for all health and social care programmes. As an experienced clinician it is expected that you will have experience of running clinical simulations using immersive technology and supporting staff and students using your expertise to create a safe learning environment based on sound pedagogical foundations to ensure our health and social care students have a first class learning experience. You will be central to advancing the University strategy on simulation and technology enhanced learning, you will work with the Head of Professional practice skills to advance the research base of simulation based education.
