About the Role

The Institute of Health and Allied Health Professions at Nottingham Trent University is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Paramedic Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join our academic team.  We’re seeking an individual who is experienced in the field of Paramedicine and who can provide high quality teaching and learning for our students.

The successful candidate will join the Paramedic Team to make a valued contribution to our range of Paramedic,  ambulance practice and continuing professional development courses.  You will participate in the planning, delivery, assessment, and quality assurance processes across the Paramedic programmes. You will contribute to student recruitment for both the courses. You will act as a personal tutor for Paramedic students and apprentices, providing pastoral care, and coordinating tri-partite progress reviews for apprentices, working collaboratively with our key stakeholder organisations to ensure support and high-quality learning experiences for students.

The successful candidate will have experience working with learners in practice or higher education, designing, and delivering learning opportunities, and have a good understanding of current and evolving clinical, professional, and policy developments in Paramedicine. You will possess excellent communication and leadership skills with a willingness to continue developing your scholarly, practice, or research profile.
