About the Role

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding colleague to join an established specialism in Early Years Education. You will be expected to contribute to PGVE Early Years programmes and Undergraduate Early Years Programmes across the Early Years Education Department, playing a significant role in the planning, teaching and assessment of modules. Candidates should be committed to student success and innovation in Learning, Teaching and Assessment. 

You will be working with an outstanding Department of Early Years Education, supporting 3 – 7 age Phase ITE. Edge Hill University is the only English University graded ‘Outstanding’ in all three initial teacher training phases.

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. You will be enthusiastic, engaging and well-informed teaching abilities are essential for this post. Your ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels will ensure that you quickly establish yourself as a key member of our friendly and supportive team. 

To be successful you will further enrich our student’s experience through your expertise and subject knowledge as evidenced through your qualifications and extensive experience of professional practice.
