About the Role

As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology, you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our pharmacology teaching as related to medicine on our Medicine and Physician Associate Studies programmes working closely with our biomedical and prescribing teams and contributing to the delivery of other areas depending on your areas of expertise and experience. You will also have opportunities to contribute to wider roles within the programmes. If you have significant responsibility for research, you will be expected to contribute to the research activities of one of our Research Units and meet the qualitative and quantitative requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence exercise.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. A very good teaching experience on undergraduate health programmes is essential as is a background in pharmacology with supporting qualifications.

To be successful you will further enrich our student’s experience through your expertise and subject knowledge. In return, you will join a forward thinking and dynamic team that pushes the boundaries of curriculum development within medicine undergraduate education.
