Location: Clifton Campus
About the Role
We are currently looking to expand our academic team within the Department of Biosciences, more specifically within our Biomedical Science Team. We are looking for an individual to contribute to our Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) accredited portfolio of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
We are specifically looking for candidates who have an NHS background as a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist to deliver teaching in either Cellular Pathology, Clinical Microbiology, Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Transfusion Science, Clinical Genetics or Clinical Immunology. Active involvement with a professional body such as the IBMS would need to be demonstrated in any application. If shortlisted for interview we would look for candidates to demonstrate how this would in turn deliver teaching excellence and enhanced employability prospects for our students. We are keen to recruit individuals who have an enthusiastic approach to teaching and a strong focus on the student experience and graduate outcomes.
Proposed interview date: Thursday 13th June 2024
