Part-time Lecturer

Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) is a self-financing arm of Lingnan University providing various full-time academic programmes including Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, Diploma, Diploma of Applied Education, Applied Learning and part-time professional continuing education programmes to meet the diverse learning needs of society.

The appointee is required to teach the following subject of Applied Learning Programmes. The teaching medium and materials are in Chinese.

  • Japanese Language and Culture (Post Ref: 23/300)
  • Korean Language and Culture (Post Ref: 23/301)
  • Psychology (Post Ref: 23/302)
  • General Requirements

    • A recognized Degree and preferably a postgraduate certificate in Education or equivalent; or a Master’s degree in the related field of studies
    • At least two years of relevant teaching/work experience. Substantial relevant teaching experience in the tertiary education sector is preferable
    • May be required to teach on Saturdays
    • Should have a native or near-native mastery of Japanese/Korean proficiency
    • Must obtain qualification in Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at N2 for Japanese Language course, qualification in Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) level 5 for Korean Language course

    Appointment

    The conditions of appointment will be competitive. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
