£34,804 to £49,553 per annum - Grade 7/8

Plymouth Business School is both ambitious and forward-looking.  In this regard, the School has recently completed a comprehensive revisioning exercise of its teaching provision, focused on providing a high-quality ‘2030 business education experience’ which is designed from the perspective of students who aim to function in a global labour market.

The Business School has a substantial 2021 REF submission, and increasingly committed to making research contributions in the areas of social, economic and environmental responsibility which result in impactful changes in business practice.

Through research-led teaching, our mission is to put business-ready graduates on a path to a successful career which is balanced in terms of work-life perspectives.  We aim to do this by creating confidence, resilience and agility in our students.

As part of our forward planning plan we aim to appoint a Lecturer in Tourism/Events Management as programme leader to further develop our work and portfolio.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.  Flexible working will be considered.

A relocation package may be available to the successful candidate, conditions apply.
