Overview

The School of Health and Society is seeking an ambitious individual to join our fantastic Sports Rehabilitation team. We are pleased to offer an opportunity of Lecturer in Sport Rehabilitation to support our very successful UG programme, a new MSc in Athletic Training, and potential contribution to other areas in sport and exercise. This role will support the learning, teaching and research of the thematic area. There will also be an expectation to undertake project supervision, and personal tutoring. We would be keen to hear from candidates who can contribute to research mentorship and/or the development of enterprise/CPD activity for the school.

Key responsibilities of the role include,

  • To deliver the highest quality learning, teaching and assessment for our UG and PG students
  • To contribute to our high-profile research in sports rehabilitation and performance
  • To support the development and delivery of enterprise activity across a variety of settings
  • To contribute to the development of the subject through a commitment to personal and professional development

The Subject area of Sport is part of the Directorate of Psychology and Sport. Research conducted by the Sport group focuses on performance and rehabilitation, notably relating to kinetic and kinetic assessment of movement.
