Overview

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, research-driven scientist at Lecturer level with strong publication records, as well as significant potential for funding. We are interested in individuals who can contribute to the cross faculty initiative of social interactions, health and wellbeing using behavioural, neuroscience or computational approaches, with a particular interest in individuals with expertise in cognitive psychology or cognitive neuroscience, but will consider candidates in all areas.

The successful candidates should have a PhD in Psychology and/or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent professional experience. You will be involved in teaching on our undergraduate or post graduate programmes (teaching loads are as would be expected in a research-led institution and reduced in the first two years following appointment). You must have substantial experience in teaching in large or small group settings with the demonstrable ability to deliver teaching at both levels.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London.  It is a full time, permanent appointment, with a start date of July 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter. The salary will be in Grade 5-6, in the range of £45,931 - £56,921 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
