The Psychology Department is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Psychology. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching core BPS-accredited psychology areas or optional modules in Counselling or Forensic Psychology. Experience of delivering online lectures and seminars would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will contribute to a thriving research culture in psychology at BCU. We particularly welcome applicants from candidates whose research will complement or enhance our existing areas of expertise in Lifespan and Behavioural Science, Identities and Inequalities and Crime and Society.

Applicants should possess a first and higher degree (PhD or equivalent) in Psychology which satisfies the BPS requirements of graduate basis for Chartership (GBC). Candidates should be actively involved in research, knowledge transfer or professional practice. For Counselling, candidates should possess a professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and accreditation or registration with BACP, UKCP or equivalent.
