About you

Candidates for the Lectureship should have a track record of research in Psychology preferably with a focus on areas such as, Work and Organisational Psychology, Business Psychology, Sustainability and/or other cognate research areas which complement current research in the Institute, evidenced by successful independent research activity including publications in peer-reviewed journals and potential for securing external research funding.

Working with the Psychology staff team and students, you will, among other activities, make a key contribution to designing, developing and delivering new and existing undergraduate and post-graduate programmes.  You will also contribute to our vibrant research culture and excellent student learning experience.

The successful candidate will be pro-active, enthusiastic and enjoy working as a member of our innovative, dedicated and collaborative team.

About the team

You will work within the team to strengthen the distinctiveness of the University’s student experience as high-quality, personalised, accessible and aspirational. You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within the Psychology, Business and Human Sciences academic team. You should exhibit excellent teaching methods with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student-centred, inclusive and flexible.
