We are seeking an exceptional early-career researcher in the areas of Organisational Behaviour and/or Human Resource Management to join our People and Organisations Department at Lecturer Level. Applicants should have outstanding research and teaching capabilities and be able to contribute to the SBS purpose and vision to inspire and enable positive change in business and society, individuals and organisations, locally and globally.

The People and Organisations Department at SBS is a leading centre for research in Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management (HRM) and Work and Organisational Psychology. Through world-leading research, teaching and industry collaborations, our faculty work to develop the next generation of evidence-based leaders and practitioners.

At Lecturer level, we expect an excellent record of scholarship and research of international significance, demonstrated by a strong publication profile and pipeline commensurate with experience, and the capability to generate research funding.

Successful candidates will find the People and Organisations Department to be a positive, supportive, collaborative, and highly productive environment within which to develop their research and careers. All staff in the Department are expected to contribute to research, teaching, academic citizenship and business engagement activity.We especially welcome applications from researchers who can complement our existing research interests and strengths. Applicants are advised to review our research themes and those of the newly launched Future of Work research centre, hosted in the Department.

This is a period of exciting development and opportunity for Surrey Business School; the successful candidate will participate in developing innovative approaches to research, teaching and strategy that contribute to our ongoing successes in for example the REF2021, and National Student Survey 2022.
