- THE ROLE -
The postholder will lead and manage the mass spectrometry facility, combining their research expertise in collaboration with other multidisciplinary scientists to address challenging biomedical questions and will develop an independent research programme in line with University and Faculty / School objectives and emerging growth deal initiatives such as the Centre for Food and Drug Discovery on the Coleraine campus. They will deliver high quality teaching in mass spectrometry to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School of Biomedical Sciences.
- ABOUT YOU -
The postholder will be required to have:
- First or Upper Second Class Honours degree or higher or equivalent in a relevant area of Biomedical Science or closely related subject.
- PhD in Chemistry, Biomedical Science, or closely related subject.
- Significant experience in the use and method development of mass spectrometry tools in research.
