Lecturer in Law (Law clinic focus)

Salford Business School is looking for an experienced Lecturer in Law to join our growing Law Subject Group. This an exciting time to join the team, as we invest significantly in the School and implement our ambitious plans for growth in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will have experience of teaching in higher education and in supporting the delivery of clinical legal education. The successful candidate will have or be entitled to a practicing certificate as a solicitor or barrister and be able to supervise the provision of advice in the clinic. Key aspects of the role will include:

• Designing and teaching material and delivering across a range of modules; set and mark assessments;
• Supervise students in the SILKS law clinic and supporting pro-bono activities across the curriculum
• Extend, transform and apply knowledge acquired from scholarship to learning, research and where appropriate external activities.
