Bath Spa University is looking to recruit an EAP lecturer with a particular focus on business and management to work in the English Language Unit (ELU).  The ELU is a small team based within the Bath Business School but with university-wide responsibility for supporting our international students with their language and academic skills including involvement in pre-sessional and in-sessional learning.  We are looking for someone who is an EAP all-rounder but also has experience in working with business students and an understanding of the business and management curriculum.  You’ll play a key part in supporting our students during their studies and in the delivery of our international strategy.  The ELU is based at Newton Park Campus but the role will involve visiting other BSU campuses (including Locksbrook Road and Corsham Court) with the possibility of international travel.

You’ll have a good first degree level and DELTA qualification (or equivalent) and ideally a relevant higher degree.  We are looking for somebody who has a strong student-centred approach, who is sensitive to our students’ needs with the ability to be flexible and adaptable in their teaching and learning practices.
