An opportunity has arisen to join us as a Fixed term Full Time Lecturer in Human Resource Management. The role is based within the Department of Management and HRM, located within Glasgow School for Business and Society. The Department delivers a wide range of programmes including a BA (Hons) International Business and HRM, MSc HRM and MSc International HRM programmes. The postgraduate programmesare fully accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and aligned to the US Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) standards, with the MSc International HRM also recognised by the Australian Human Resources Institute.

The applicant should have the expertise and flexibility to deliver a range of modules across the Human Resource Management/Development discipline.  Experience of teaching and assessment in the HRM subject area within a blended-learning environment is required as well as an understanding of how to guide students through their dissertation or projects.

Applicants should be qualified to at least MSc level within a Human Resource Management discipline and ideally also have membership of a relevant professional body such as CIPD. 

Applicants are expected to have both excellent written communication skills and presentation skills. You should also be able to demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills along with a student-centred approach and an ability to work in a collaborative manner with colleagues.
