Lecturer in Healthcare Law and Ethics

The Lecturer in Healthcare Law and Ethics will deliver education, research, and related administration within Centre for Ethics in Medicine, in Bristol Medical School.  The Centre for Ethics in Medicine is a thriving multi- and interdisciplinary Centre, based in the Department of Population Health Sciences, in Bristol Medical School, with an excellent reputation for ground-breaking research, award-winning engagement activities, and high-quality teaching and training.

The role holder will provide teaching and assessment (and related administration) on healthcare law and ethics, primarily to undergraduate students on the (intercalated) iBSc in Healthcare Ethics and Law and the MBChB Medicine, and will also co-supervise postgraduate students.  They will also produce their own research, in line with the very broad research strategy of the Centre for Ethics in Medicine.  This will include grant capture and the production of papers published in high quality journals, as well as supporting collaborative research with immediate colleagues and those in the wider Faculty and beyond.
