Job Type: FullTime
Deadline: 05 Apr 2024

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic EAP lecturer to join our transnational education (TNE) team at the University of Reading.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic community with a global outlook and a focus on teaching excellence.

EAP Lecturers are on teaching-intensive academic contracts, and you may also be required to teach across one or more of ISLI’s programme areas: the Academic English Programme (In-Sessional provision), the International Foundation Programme, the Pre-Sessional English programme, professional development courses, the visiting students’ programme, or the University-wide Global Graduate modules.

You will have:

  • Experience teaching EAP or ESAP in UK higher education and ideally an interest in TNE provision
  • Experience of EAP or ESAP course design and delivery
  • Experience of materials development
  • Experience of working effectively and collaboratively within a team
