The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics is looking for a Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing at Coventry University is one of the largest in the UK and is nationally and internationally renowned as a centre of innovation for its teaching, learning and research of computing subject areas. The School of Computing, Electronics and Mathematics is one of three schools within the faculty and has a very successful suite of courses supported by excellent staff, teaching facilities and laboratories. The school is responsible for the development of a thriving portfolio of teaching and research.  We offer undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering and Computer Software and Hardware Engineering. Our postgraduate courses include Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering and Electrical Automotive Engineering.

We are interested in expanding electronics teams in the areas of:

  • Communication Systems
  • Signal Processing

You will be responsible for the delivery and support of learning, teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will work closely with the course teams to help provide the high-quality learning environment our students expect. Suitable candidates may be eligible to apply to become associated with a research group and undertake research within that group.

Applicants should hold a post-graduate degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.

Relevant industrial and professional experience will advantageous. Professional qualification and/or membership and a PhD. Experience of working in higher education will be very useful and good programming and electronic design skills are required.

You will need to share our passion for delivering a positive student experience that puts excellence in teaching and learning at the heart of everything you do and will be able to demonstrate significant knowledge of your area of specialisation.
