Due to growth in our popular Engineering Management suite of MSc programmes, the Department of Electronic Engineering is looking to recruit a permanent teaching focused member of academic staff to support the delivery of our PGT programmes. We are specifically looking for candidates who have experience in the following areas:

  • Cyber-Security;
  • Data Analytics;
  • IT Governance and Compliance;
  • Software Cost Management;
  • Technology and Innovation Management.

The successful candidate must hold a PhD and will have experience of engaging with industry and contributing to outreach activities. The post is both Teaching and Scholarship positions and the appointee will be primarily based at our Central London campus but may be required to contribute to the delivery of our new PGT programmes in Applied Data Science and Applied Data Science & Cyber-Security that will initially be based at our Egham Campus. The successful candidate will be asked to contribute to a range of departmental activities, including teaching and project supervision over a range of topics related to their specialism.  The post holder may be expected to teach and supervise at undergraduate and postgraduate level with responsibility for the design, management and delivery of their teaching. They will also participate in departmental administration as requested by the Head of Department. 

The Department of Electronic Engineering sits with the School of Engineering, Physical and Mathematical Sciences (EPMS) at Royal Holloway, University of London.  The School also comprises the Departments of Computer Science, Information Security, Mathematics and Physics.

This is a full-time permanent (tenured) post, available from April 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. The post will be based within the Department of Electronic Engineering, with academic support and teaching duties spread across both our main campus in Egham and our central London campus in Bloomsbury.
