The Department of History, Politics and War Studies is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Cyber Warfare.

You will contribute to the provision of high-quality teaching, research and course development and the enhancement of academic performance, student attainment and satisfaction. This position is permanent, part-time (0.5 post) at City Campus.

We invite applications from candidates with teaching and research expertise in cyber warfare, digital conflict, and information security.  You will play a key role in promoting new perspectives, sources and approaches within our existing and future teaching and will complement and broaden our global coverage of conflict, class, gender, generations, communities, and consumption. This is an exciting opportunity to develop our work towards diversifying and decolonising the curriculum. 

You will be committed to the organisation and delivery of: War Studies; Air, Space and Cyber Power Studies; and International Relations programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. As a research-active scholar, you will also be working with a well-established, successful, and growing REF unit of assessment, and will have the potential to attract external research funding and supervise postgraduate students.
