You will undertake teaching and administration and participate in research/scholarship activities in the Department of Communication and Media, with a focus on communication, media and data science. The position is to provide cover for a colleague on maternity leave at 0.6FTE for up to 6 months.

Preference will be given to applicants whose teaching focuses on the use of computational techniques for analysing online and social media platforms. The post will strengthen the Department¿s teaching in these areas by covering existing modules and introducing new approaches which reflect the candidate¿s specific expertise in communication, media and data science. The post will strengthen interdisciplinary research activities undertaken in the Department.

You will have a PhD in a relevant area.

We are looking to appoint the most appropriate candidate within the Grade 7/8 range, according to experience, ability, and interview performance.
