We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer to contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching in the Centre for Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research.  They will make contributions to student education and experience through curriculum development and the delivery of teaching activities in the subject area of regenerative medicine, skin and cell biology.  The appointee will also contribute to medical student PBL teaching and be a mentor for 1st and 2nd year medical students.

In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake a significant programme of research on the role of cholesterol transport in ageing and rare disease that will contribute to growth in Cell Biology and Cutaneous Research. 

About you:  Applicants will be expected to have high quality publications and a proven ability to obtain funding from industry.  Applicants will have experience of generating 3D skin models and high-throughput cellular phenotyping.  Applicants will also have experience of teaching. 

The post is full time with an indefinite term, subject to probation. Starting salary is £42,433 - £52,833 per annum. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
