We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative candidate to join us a Lecturer in Business Management. You will join an enthusiastic team committed to delivering teaching, research and academic enterprise, which contributes to the Business School, Faculty and University’s strategic ambitions. A commitment to high quality teaching and learning is essential and you should be willing to share the University’s core values of creating a learning environment that is inclusive, challenging and promotes collaboration, professionalism and confidence.
The University of Wolverhampton holds a distinctive place within the higher education sector, and is one of the most successful modern universities, delivering excellence in teaching and research, widening access, and in business engagement. Having begun life nearly 190 years ago to enhance education and skill base of the workforce in what is today a major industrial conurbation, we have continued to fulfil and develop the role to meet the needs of the region we serve. Today as the ‘University of Opportunity’, the University of Wolverhampton is an integral part of economic growth and social change within the West Midlands and beyond.
The Business School is based in the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences and has a distinguished record of supporting people and organisations. We have extensive business networks and work collaboratively with a wide range of professional bodies and offer a portfolio of online courses, degree apprenticeships and have a growing portfolio of TNE partners.
You will have a good first degree or equivalent, a postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject and experience of teaching in the higher education sector. You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to high quality teaching. The Faculty has well established links with professional bodies, therefore membership and experience of working with relevant industry or professional bodies, particularly CMI, would be an advantage.
