Lecturer in Business Analytics and Decision Making

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Business Analytics and Decision Making to support delivery of our courses.  We require staff with a range of subject focuses, which may include Supply Chain Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Operations Analytics, and/or Strategic Business Analytics.

The School of Strategy and Leadership is one of four schools in the Faculty of Business and Law and is home to subject disciplines in International Business Management, Strategy, Leadership, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Decision Making, Business Analytics, Logistic and Risk Management. The School is the largest in the Faculty and is comprised of a wide range of programmes and an increasing number of activities in the area of enterprise and innovation.  Our collaborative and supportive ethos builds a strong community of academics and makes it a place where people want to work. Person Specification:

  • Hold a PhD or an equivalent, in a relevant subject, and have a record of accomplishment in teaching and/or scholarship and/or research and/or enterprise. 
  • Experience of teaching at higher education level with evidence of successful student learning outcomes, or evidence of high quality presentation skills, and evidence of coaching, or mentoring and teaching other professionals
  • Experience of working on research/scholarly projects through a range of approaches
  • Willingness to undertake a teaching qualification (if not already qualified)
