The post is suitable for a research-focused academic with a basic science, biomedical, medical or veterinary background. The successful applicant will have a proven track-record of research and REF-returnable publications in an area that aligns with the College’s existing research strengths in Comparative Physiology and Clinical Sciences (see link at https://www.rvc.ac.uk/research/comparative-physiology-and-clinical-sciences ). We are looking to build on areas of existing research strength (e.g. cardiovascular and musculoskeletal biology) but candidates with relevant experience in other disciplines falling within the CPCS theme are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must be enthusiastic teachers and will contribute significantly to the delivery, assessment and development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Prospective applicants wishing to discuss the position informally should contact the Head of Department, Professor Caroline Wheeler-Jones, by email in the first instance: [email protected] .

Interviews will be held on 13, 14 or 15 February 2024.
