The post of Lecturer in Automotive and Motorsport Engineering will be located within the Wales Institute of Science and Arts. The Automotive Engineering team at UWTSD are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience of working within the Automotive Engineering Sector.

This is an opportunity for an individual with experience of working within the Automotive Engineering Sector to join a supportive and close-knit team strongly focused on supporting students’ development, with passion about widening access to higher education and raising the profile of the Automotive Engineering sector. The Automotive Engineering team at UWTSD focus on empowering students to develop as engineering professionals within our programmes and beyond, removing barriers to education, development, and lifelong learning.

You will deliver lectures on the Swansea SA1 campus as required. You will contribute to face-to-face and online lecturing and workshop; for day, evening and occasional flexible working as required by the team.

You will need to hold a postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or working towards a higher-level qualification and you should also have knowledge of automotive and Motorsport Engineering discipline with a proficiency in CAD & CAE – (SolidWorks & Ansys are desirable)

You will need good interpersonal and communication skills with IT proficiency and experience of using e-resources including a willingness to teach by video-link, M S Teams, VLE, e-mail or website delivery.
