We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Lecturer to complement the teaching team in areas of existing strength, providing module leadership within the School’s BSc Architecture Construction and Technology programme and the delivery of Design Studio.

The successful candidate will have an interest in engaging with our interdisciplinary research culture and will be expected to contribute to the school’s research scholarship by developing a publication record in their area of specialist expertise. Opportunities are also available to engage in research within a unique interdisciplinary research environment. Areas of research activity within the Department are wide-ranging, currently including: Urban green infrastructure; Digital fabrication, biomaterials & material efficiency; Interventions and interaction in public space; Creative practices within the energy humanities; Imagined and built futures in sf; Cultural and political dimensions of public spaces and urban planning; Building and urban environmental quality.

The School of the Built Environment is internationally renowned for its research and education relating to the design, construction and operation of the buildings and places where we live, work and play. We have a strong orientation towards interdisciplinary 'real-world' problems and have a proud track record of active engagement with the professions.
