The Department of Learning and Teaching Enhancement (DLTE) is seeking to appoint a full-time Lecturer for its Academic Practice team. This is an opportunity to contribute to the teaching of the Department’s accredited and non-accredited provision, and work across the university on other teaching and learning- focused projects.

The Role
The post holder will teach and support learning, focusing on:
- Contributing to the development of teaching and learning to ensure a quality learning experience for learners across all of DLTE programmes.
- Contributing to other projects and staff development events run across the University, such as academic induction, CPD, and the Learning & Teaching Network.
Ensuring a quality learning experience for students on our accredited and non-accredited programmes. This will include a range of activities including:
- Developing and designing face-to-face, online and blended teaching materials.
- Teaching and supporting learners across a range of accredited and non-accredited programmes.
- Developing learning and strategic enhancement projects in different contexts.
- Working closely with School colleagues across a range of disciplines.
Who we are looking for:
Essential requirements:
- A doctoral level qualification (or equivalent professional experience)
- Evidence of leading pedagogical innovation
- Evidence of academic leadership skills
- Sufficient breadth and depth of experience in pedagogy to develop effective teaching/learning
- Experience of engaging learners in diverse contexts.

Salary: £40,927 - £50,296 per annum (Grade 6)
