Bedford College, are currently recruiting for a Lecturer (Teacher) of Health and Social Care at our Kettering Campus.
Lecturers at Bedford College, play a pivotal role in the success of our students through:
- Preparing, delivering, assessing and verify subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels.
- Supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
- Managing students’ learning and provide a high-quality learning experience.
- Contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
- Participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.
Ideal candidates will have experience of:
- Recent experience of teaching and assessing on a range programmes and levels:
- Knowledge of the current developments in own specialist area
- Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Evidence of understanding how to promote equality and diversity within the job role
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in related subject area
- Vocational background in Health and Social care
- Certificate in Education ( or willing to work towards one)

Bedford College has a number of sites across the town and surrounding areas, these include our main Cauldwell Street campus in the heart of the town, our hair and beauty salon on the High Street, the advanced automotive centre on Brunel Road and the gas and technology plumbing centre in Kempston.

The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College and is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students passing through our doors each year.
