CREWW research focuses on pressing issues facing environmental resilience and the water and waste sectors, including:

→         How to manage people and land to deliver environmental resilience

→         Understanding how catchments and people respond to flooding and drought, to improve future resilience.

→         How to understand and motivate people to be agents of positive environmental change

→         How to protect drinking and bathing waters from pollution

→         Ensuring we have enough water to cope with a growing population and climate change

→         Protecting the water supply network

→         Predicting and preventing pollution from the waste and water networks

CREWW research is undertaken by academics who work with partners in industry, government and NGOs, to develop a shared understanding of the issues and practical solutions which will benefit the environment, society and economy.
