The University of Nottingham Online has an opportunity for an experienced learning technologist to join a talented and innovative team of online learning specialists tasked with creating the next generation of online learning experiences for a Global Top 100 University.  The team works directly with the University of Nottingham’s academic experts and highly experienced industry partners to design and develop its competency-based learning products focussed on meeting the upskilling and reskilling needs of professionals.  It delivers its learning experiences through a standards-compliant, integrated learning platform, with Totara at is core, that encompasses payment and enrolment, synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences, assessment and digital credentialling.   

What will you do? 

You will be a key member of our cross-functional team tasked with managing the day-to-day operations of the learning platform and supporting its programme of continuous evolution and improvement.  Working closely with the Director of Product and Operations and the Operations Manager, you will play a key part in ensuring that the quality of the University of Nottingham Online’s experience is as good as it can be for every single learner.  You will help set the agenda for our platform development through evidence-based planning built on learner insight and analytics.  

About you 

You will be an experienced learning technologist with a proven track record of supporting and managing the operation of integrated learning platforms to deliver multiple online courses and learning experiences to deadlines.  You will be an effective communicator, motivated by learner experiences and proactive in your efforts to continuously improve them.  With a high level of digital literacy and relevant technical skillsets, you will be comfortable working with a collaborative, inclusive and people-centred team comprising internal colleagues and external suppliers.

This post is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours). Job share arrangements may be considered.
