Following our success in a bid for funding to support Level 6 Degree Apprenticeships, Solent University is pleased to announce the opening of an opportunity for a Learning Technologist to take a key role in the project.

The successful candidate will work closely with the course team to modify the existing course material to create a fully on-line version of the course suitable for delivery to learners who are in remote locations and cannot travel to Southampton. The successful candidate will need to use their knowledge of teaching and learning and educational technology to ensure that they create a suite of sites on Solent Online Learning that provide an excellent-quality, inclusive and stimulating learning experience that delivers the required Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour for the learner.

As the material is developed, the successful candidate will work with colleagues across the project and wider University to engage with internal and external stakeholders to demonstrate

This is a Fixed-Term post until the conclusion of the project in July 2025.
