Role Description

A good understanding of pedagogy, attention to detail, excellent problem-solving and inter-personal skills, a logical and flexible approach and a commitment to outstanding customer service are essential for this position.

About the Role

The purpose of the role is to support Cranfield staff in the development of engaging online teaching and learning, based on sound pedagogic principles. To help facilitate the process, a number of working groups cover aspects including VLE standards, assessment process, communication, training and technical.

About You

We are seeking a motivated team-worker with a passion for facilitating the development of engaging online learning materials. You will have a good working knowledge of Canvas VLE and Turnitin plagiarism prevention software and enjoys working collaboratively on a number of modules with a variety of stakeholders. Experience of e-portfolio systems such as PebblePad would also be desirable.

You must have knowledge and experience of supporting colleagues in the use of learning technologies and ideally have some experience of working within an academic institution. Prior experience of training colleagues or students, ideally in the design and enhancement of online learning materials, would be advantageous. You will have degree level qualification (or equivalent).
