Are you experienced in developing high-quality learning content? If you enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-paced team and want to apply your expertise in pedagogical and instructional / learning design principles to online learning, this role could be for you.

As we embark on an ambitious 10 year strategy, we are looking for a digitally-focussed learning professional to support the design and development of online courses within a supportive team of digital education specialists.

As a Learning Designer (also known as Lead Instructional Designer) within the University’s Digital Education Service you will work on the development of high quality, professional and innovative learning content for online courses on external platforms, including FutureLearn, Coursera and the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

You will work closely with colleagues, subject matter experts from within the University, and external clients. You will have a positive, proactive and flexible approach to your work, with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team. You will need strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to contribute to the development of online, blended or professional learning courses in a fast-paced project-focussed environment.
