Learning and Skills Manager  

Are you an experienced Librarian with a track record in creative and innovative pedagogy? Do you hold a teaching qualification and/or Advance HE Fellowship?  

We are looking for a Learning and Skills Manager to lead our student-focused open programme of information and digital fluency sessions and resources, supporting students' academic achievement, employability, and success as digital citizens. You will transform our offer to meet the needs of a diverse student community in a University which is committed to helping its students to be the best they can. 

You will:

  • Manage the Academic Liaison Advisers and E-Learning Developer, supporting the development of good practice for pedagogy and engagement.
  • Work closely with the Academic Liaison team to enhance our embedded offer.  
  • Bring excellent pedagogical knowledge, a good understanding of the changing ways that students learn and sound knowledge of the help and support they need to progress and do well, including use of innovative learning technologies. 
  • Work closely with partners across the University to ensure the Library's learning and skills programme is fully integrated with the wider student offer.
