Learning and OD Administrator

We are looking for an organised and customer-focussed Learning & Organisational Development (L&OD) Administrator to provide a dedicated admin service to the L&OD team and to colleagues across the university.

The L&OD team is part of the People Strategy team within our Human Resources department. Your will be our first point of contact, ensuring our L&OD service to colleagues is approachable and proactive and helping us to deliver our People Plan ambition to provide supportive, accessible development to all. It’s an exciting time to be joining our team as we expand our learning and development offer across the University!

You will be:

  • Organised and able to manage a range of different tasks
  • Interested in a career in L&OD and passionate about supporting colleagues with their learning and career journeys
  • Friendly, helpful and able to work as part of a team
  • Keen to get stuck in and support others with varied projects and activities
  • Able to work with and support range of colleagues in different roles and areas of the university

Key responsibilities:

  • Communicate via MS Teams or email to manage queries coming into the team on all matters related to learning and organisational development.
  • Deliver end-to-end administration for online and face-to-face learning events.
  • Work with IT systems eg SAP and MS Excel to develop admin processes and maintain records.
  • Promote and encourage participation in learning and development activity through various platforms and methods
  • Work as part of the L&OD team, supporting team members with administrative elements of learning and OD work.

This is a permanent role, part-time for 29 hours per week over 5 days (above salary is the full time equivalent and will be pro rata for 29hours).  There will be a 2 stage screening process and interviews will be held during week commencing 5th February.
