We are looking for a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills to provide an efficient service to the Deans of the Faculties of Law, Crime & Justice and Education & Arts. The role holder will support and be responsible for managing, delegating, monitoring and responding to administration tasks on behalf of the Deans, maintaining appropriate confidentiality at all times. This will include diary management, monitoring task and response deadlines, drafting communications, dealing with administration and correspondence, including responsibility for actioning agreed elements of the Directors administration tasks and replying to correspondence.
The role holder will also assist with generation of reports and analytics requested by Deans or other departments such as ELT, Student Support & Success, or Knowledge & Digital Services. In addition to providing effective administrative services to the relevant Dean(s), the job requires close liaison between other parts of the University to provide an efficient service.
The successful candidate will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent and have experience working in a busy office environment and dealing with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Possessing an excellent eye for detail, the post holder will be able to work to their own initiative and able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
