The College of Health and Life Sciences is seeking to appoint a Laboratory Technician to be part of a technical team providing support for Pharmacy, Neurosciences, and Bioscience Subject groups. 

The post holder will be expected to undertake a variety of technical duties for which full training will be given. The post holder will also be expected to attend University training opportunities in aspects such as Health & Safety and Manual Handling.

Aston University is located within Birmingham City Centre and has accessible transport links, via bus or train. There is parking available at a discounted rate and also a cycle to work scheme. We are proud supporters of the Technician commitment and developing our technical staff through various types of training including placements at other universities. 

The post holder will form part of the Technical Team and report to the Team Leader.
